From Seed to Table: A JLA Sustainability Science GardenAt Janus Liberal Arts High School, we’re thrilled to launch the "From Seed to Table" A JLA Sustainability Science Garden—a dynamic, hands-on initiative that brings the Natural Sciences to life.

By incorporating hydroponics, students will explore sustainable agriculture from seed germination to nutrient cycling. This living laboratory empowers them to study plant biology, water conservation, and innovative food production. Math is integrated throughout, as students apply algebra, geometry, and data analysis to design garden layouts, track plant growth, and analyze resource use.

Plus, it integrates directly into our nutrition and health lunch programming, providing fresh, student-grown produce that nourishes both body and mind. This garden is not just a project—it’s a cornerstone of our commitment to sustainability, health, and the power of interdisciplinary learning. What are you waiting on, parents and students? Grades 9-12! 40 total student enrollment! Enrolling now! Non choice,…
